The City of Petaluma is pleased to announce that it now accepts passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports Monday through Friday in the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 11 English Street, Petaluma from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Appointments are encouraged. When applying for a passport, you must have the following:

  • A fully completed Passport Application Form (DS-11).
  • Two identical passport photos taken within the last two months. We do offer photo services for a fee of $10.00.
  • Identification (e.g., current driver's license).
  • Evidence of Citizenship (an original Certified Birth Certificate - Not a COPY, or other U.S. Department of State acceptable document).

 

Fees are as follows (updated as of February 1, 2008):

  • $60.00 - Applicants 15 years of age or younger (check made payable to U.S. Department of State).
  • $75.00 - Applicants 16 years of age or older (check made payable to U.S. Department of State).
  • $25.00 - City of Petaluma Execution Fee.
  • $10.00 - City of Petaluma Photo Fee.
  • $60.00 - Expedite Fee (check made payable to U.S. Department of State).
