Records and Information Management Program
City Clerk's Office
11 English Street, Petaluma, California 94952
Hours: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday - Thursday
The Citywide Records and Information Management Program monitors the disposition of all City records from origin and use through storage, destruction or archival retention. Elements of the program include the preparation of Records Disposition Schedules for all City departments, microfilming of permanent records of the City Council, protection of vital City records, storage of inactive records, cataloguing of official artifacts, and advising City departments about records management issues.
The City's new Records and Document Search program allows you to search, browse, and read important documents - without having to come to City Hall!
The number and type of documents available is always growing. As of April 2015, we have City Council ordinances and resolutions from available from 1970-Present. City Council Meeting minutes from 1911 to the present are also available. Recent meeting agendas, staff reports, and minutes for all City bodies are viewable and searchable on our archives pages.
Please be patient. Due to budget constraints, our license is limited and does not allow multiple users to access the system simultanously. If the system is busy, please try again later.
You should know that we can only provide limited assistance. For further information, contact the City Clerk's office at the above email or telephone number.
