The Citywide Records and Information Management Program monitors the disposition of all City records from origin and use through storage, destruction or archival retention. Elements of the program include the preparation of Records Disposition Schedules for all City departments, microfilming of permanent records of the City Council, protection of vital City records, storage of inactive records, cataloguing of official artifacts, and advising City departments about records management issues.
