Building Green in Petaluma
On January 23, 2006, the Petaluma City Council approved the creation of a new, voluntary green building program, authorizing Resource Performance Partners, Inc. to develop the program with the Community Development Department. The Petaluma Green Building Program, called “Petaluma Build It Green” will reflect the City’s commitments to responsible development and environmental stewardship, and will be seamlessly integrated into the Community Development Department’s operations.
To build the green building program we have created the “Green Team,” consisting of staff from various City departments, including Planning, Building, Water Resources and Conservation, and Public Works, facilitated by Resource Performance Partners. The Green Team has been responsible for planning all aspects of the program’s development, launch, and operations.
Green Team members include:
Clifford Kendall (Chief Building Official)
Tiffany S. Robbe (Senior Planner)
Phil Boyle (Associate Planner)
Evan Kishineff (Assistant Planner)
Dianne Ramirez (Program Manager)
James Lopez (Senior Engineering Tech)
David Iribarne (Water Resources and Conservation)
Tim Williamsen (IT Manager)
