Water Recycling Expansion Project
EIR
A California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) consultant
will prepare an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) on the
Water Recycling Expansion Project for consideration by the
public and decision-makers. The near-term
improvements, including the two recycled water tanks east of
Adobe, will be evaluated at a project-level, while the
remainder of the proposed improvements such as lands to be
irrigated and distribution pipelines will be evaluated at a
program-level.
Public Hearing, Comment Period and Availability of the Draft EIR
The City of Petaluma welcomes your comments on the Draft EIR, which will be circulated for 45 days from July 7, 2008 to August 20, 2008, to allow public agencies and interested individuals the opportunity to review and comment on the document. Copies of the Draft EIR will be available at City Hall, the Petaluma Library, Petaluma Community Center, Petaluma Senior Center, and on this web site under Reports & Documents.
Public hearings will be held on the Draft EIR on the following dates:
Planning Commission: Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 7:00 PM
City Council: Monday, September 8, 2008 at 7:00 PM
Both meetings will be held at the Petaluma Council Chamber, City Hall, 11 English Street, Petaluma.
Written comments on the Draft EIR will be accepted by the City until 5:00 PM on August 20, 2008. All written comments should be sent to:
