Commercial High Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate
How Can Your Business Save Money By Conserving Water?
Businesses served by the City have lowered their water and sewer bills by participating in this program. Increased water efficiency can result in lower water and energy bills, reduced wastewater charges, reduced costs for wastewater pretreatment, and a positive public image for businesses that conserve water.
What Kind of Clothes Washers Qualify?
Clothes washers must meet the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) standards for Commercial, Family-Sized Washer Initiative. Visit the CEE website for more information.
How the Program Works:
- Clothes washer(s) purchases and installation must meet Consortium for Energy Efficiency standards for commercial, family-sized, high-efficiency clothes washers. Signature of property owner is required for rebate approval.
- Call 707-778-4507 to receive an application.
- Return the completed application and original purchase receipt to City of Petaluma, Water Resources & Conservation, 3890 Cypress Dr, Petaluma, CA 94954. The purchase receipt can be returned during the site verification.
- Contact the City of Petaluma to schedule an installation verification.
- Rebates will be issued upon verification of installation. Please allow 4-6 weeks for rebate checks to be issued.
